THE PROBLEM

The problem facing so many parents today is simple: kids are suffering from neurodevelopmental delays, chronic ear and respiratory infections, and so much more at unprecedented rates. Too often, traditional medicine aims to treat the symptoms rather than the root cause. Or worse, their answer to these problems is, “They’ll grow out of it.” But parents know something deeper is wrong. A child may grow out of ear infections, only to grow into neurodevelopmental delays or sensory issues. In chiropractic, we call this “The Perfect Storm.”

THE PERFECT STORM

The Perfect Storm is the whirlwind of symptoms many children face today, from infants to toddlers to teens. Often, presenting issues start with birth trauma, birth interventions (like c-section), or even perinatal stress (stress passed from mama to baby in the womb). 

IN INFANTS, THIS CAN PRESENT AS: torticollis, plagiocephaly, low or high tone, colic, constipation, latch issues, ear infection.

IN KIDS AND TEENS, THIS CAN PRESENT AS: ADHD, autism, sensory, seizures, apraxia, PANDAS/PANS, genetic anomalies, POTS, anxiety, OCD/ODD, depression, dysautonomia.

Addressing just the symptoms is not enough for these kids. Central nervous system dysfunction is the root cause, and must be addressed to achieve long-term healing. 

THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

The central nervous system is the air traffic controller for the whole body. It controls every nerve, organ, system, and function in the body. When the nervous system is overworked, stressed out, and exhausted, it cannot perform these essential functions, such as sleep, digestion, immunity, and movement. That’s where chiropractic comes in.
